FAITHFUL EDUCATIONAL SECRETARIES |
ALL HAIL! EDUCATIONAL SECRETARIES |
|
By Mrs. Edith Earnshaw, Wake Forest, North Carolina (Written for the N.C. Educational Secretaries, 1954-1955 |
By Nelle I. Creasman Joseph DeNardo, Band Director |

We learn by looking in the dictionary
From "Secret" comes the good word secretary
To Crises we all become adjusted
By simply proving that we can be trusted.
And we must give our tasks our best attention --
Even the ones too trivial to mention.
This then is service -- if, without commotion,
We give our cause unqualified devotion.
Skill we must have -- Oh, listen and believe it; Perfection is our goal, we can achieve it.
Integrity -- This a word old fashioned --
Like skill and service -- plan and unimpassioned.
These vital three are shinning luminaries
Lighting the path for faithful Educational Secretaries. |
All Hail! N.C.E.S. thru out the Old North State. Seeking forever standards high to make.
All Hail! N.C.E.S. our aims shall ever be
Integrity and loyalty for service true.
All Hail! N.C.E.S. Thy praise we'll ever sing.
Firm in the knowledge honor we will bring.
All Hail! N.C.E.S. your work we'll ever perform With skill and efficiency, All Hail to Thee.
